The Fox Recce Run

Littleford Lane Car Park. GU4 8RB

Come and join our AAT Events Ambassador Chris Nugent for a spectacular guided trail run, with the chance for you to practice one of the more technical sections on our Fox route, Silent Pool Hill.

Taking in a short section of The Fox Way, you will also get to run through some of Surrey's other outstanding countryside trails whilst picking up some great tips and advice to help you on race day.

Friday 11th March

Length: 15km

Elevation: 400m

The route starts and ends at Littleford Lane Car Park (GU4 8RB).

We’ll wind our way across Blackheath along some single-track trails in the woods, and skirt around Shere to find ourselves at Silent Pool, a spring-fed lake at the foot of the North Downs.

A challenging, yet fun, ascent awaits us (that can be taken at our own individual pace) and then we will follow the trails underneath Newlands Corner to arrive at the bottom of St. Martha’s Hill.

The last section of the run takes us through Chilworth, returning to Blackheath via Lockner Halt Climb.
