Run your best 5k or 10k in the only race dedicated to running heroes who are raising money for any of over 200,000 charities in the UK.
We know what it takes to run 5k or 10k. When thousands of people every year decide to do their first ever race or to dedicate one of their regular efforts to raise money for causes that are important to them, we think they deserve some extra help and a special event to champion their stories.
For every entry into The Big Charity Run we kickstart your fundraising by donating £5 to your chosen charity. Online and at the event, we'll shout out you and your brilliant efforts to help bring in those extra pounds to help your reach your goal. Supporters from your chosen charity, your friends and family will be able to take up prime spots on the course to cheer you on, and our photographers will make sure you have a souvenir of the race with action shots from the course and your celebratory shots with your supports after you've crossed the line.
Greenwich Park offers a completely flat, beautiful course that is a favourite for every runner hoping to achieve a personal best. Starting and finishing at the Bandstand, free toilets and secure bag drop facilities are provided. After the race, you'll be rewarded with your exclusive Big Charity Run medal, an exclusive Big Charity Run Hero technical running t-shirt and a finishers' goody bag to help you feel refuelled and refreshed.
Enter online to receive instant confirmation of your place. You'll receive a final instructions email in the week leading up to the race with information on how to get to Greenwich Park and details of the on-the-day race facilities. All race packs are collectible on the day at Greenwich Park and are not posted in advance. On-the-day registration opens at 8.00am and closes fifteen minutes before the race at 9.15am.
